  • 1 cup small shrimp (120 gr.)
  • 1 small hake (2 kg)
  • 2 cups large shrimp (240 g)
  • 3 cloves of garlic (5 gr.)
  • half leek (60 gr.)
  • 3 potatoes (600 gr.)
  • 1 cup shells (120 gr.)
  • half carrot (70 gr.)
  • 1 tomato (100 gr.)
  • 2 cups fish stock (500 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (30 ml)
  • 1 tablespoon salt (15 gr.)
  • 1 tablespoon white pepper (15 gr.)
  • half red bell pepper (70 gr.)

To make this soup all you need to do is combine the seafood with the vegetables.

  • First clean the hake and cut it into medium sized pieces.
  • Clean the shells and cut them open. Then store the hake and shells in the refrigerator.
  • Remember it ‘s best if the seafood is fresh and not frozen so it takes less time to cook.
  • Peel and cut all the vegetables into small pieces and fry them with the garlic in a pan with only a little extra virgin olive oil.
  • Then add the seafood, starting with the small and large prawns and the hake. Add the shells last. Saute until all ingredients are golden brown.
  • Now place a pan with the fish stock over medium heat and add all the previously prepared ingredients.
  • Add the salt and white pepper. Then cover and let it cook for at least 30 to 40 minutes.
