1. Tea tree oil

By applying it to the affected area, it will protect the skin and  prevent inflammation.

Ingredients

  • 3 drops of tea tree oil
  • 1 tablespoon of water (5 g)

Preparation

  • Dilute the tea tree oil with a tablespoon of water.

Application

  • Dip the cotton pad or swab in the liquid and then apply it to the affected area.
  • Repeat this two or three times a day for best results.

2. Pomegranate Peel Mouthwash

The healing and antibacterial powers of pomegranate  peel will help protect the irritated skin around the mouth sores. 

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried pomegranate peel (5 g)
  • 1 cup water (250 ml)

Preparation

  • Add the pomegranate peel to the water and heat it. Once it boils, let it cook for 10 minutes on low heat.
  • Let it cool to room temperature and then strain it.

Application

  • Gargle with this liquid for two minutes.

3. Aloe Vera Gel

  • 1/2 cup water (125 ml)

Preparation

  • Place the birch leaves in a pan with water, bring to the boil and let it steep for 10 minutes.

Application

  • Gargle with the birch mouthwash two or three times a day.

5. Horsetail Mouthwash

  • Gargle with this mouthwash every time after brushing your teeth.

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda (5 g)
  • 1/2 cup water (125 ml)

Preparation

  • Dissolve the baking soda in warm water.

  • First take a mouthful of the liquid and then gargle with it. Do this for two to three minutes and then spit it out.
  • Use it daily until the mouth sores have healed.
