When you go to a restaurant, it’s easy to think that ordering flavored water instead of soda is a healthy substitute. This is partly true, and partly not true.

The same thing happens with protein bars sold at the gym. It is better to have a healthy and homemade snack, which provides protein, minerals and fiber.

Extra vitamins have no positive effect

It has been proven that vitamins taken in the form of medicines do not necessarily provide benefits to the body. Especially when they are taken a lot. There are some weak correlations between these vitamins and cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Many believe that skipping breakfast or lunch is good for weight loss. However, this is counterproductive for many reasons. First of all, when it is finally time to eat, you will be hungrier and eat out of fear and despair, meaning you care less about what you eat.

Second  , the body will start using stored fats to carry out daily tasks. You would think this is good, but it isn’t, because it’s basically the same as trying to operate a car with a tablespoon of butter.

Do not drink water from (plastic) bottles

You’ve read hundreds of times about the importance of drinking two liters of water a day. After much resistance, you finally decided to buy a bottle of water to take with you to work. This is a very common mistake.

This water has been in contact with the bacteria and viruses that live in the bottle and plastic contains certain toxins, which can then get into the water. As if this were not enough, mold can form in the bottle. It is better to drink a glass of water from a purifier or buy a glass bottle of water.

If you really want to eat a piece of fruity pie with whipped cream, don’t hold yourself back. Do you know why not? If you let those cravings build up, you won’t be able to eat just one or two pieces… but you’ll want the whole pie!

Like store-bought flavored water or juice, diet sodas are full of harmful substances and sweeteners. Studies have shown that these products can degrade health in the same or potentially worse way than “normal” beverages. Always choose a healthier solution, such as the ones mentioned earlier.

Needless to say, when using it to reheat pre-cooked and frozen foods, you shouldn’t heat them in their original plastic containers either. The best option is to avoid this and use the traditional oven. It will take a little longer, but you don’t have to be afraid of toxic substances.
